Hello, my name is Jasmine K and I am a female home carer with a wealth of experience in providing compassionate care to individuals with a variety of needs. I have been in the field for a number of years and have had the privilege of working with clients who have mild cognitive impairment, are bedbound, have Parkinson's disease, as well as those struggling with anxiety and depression.
I offer a range of care types, including live-in, hourly, and overnight care. While I am unable to drive and do not own a car, I am adept at maximizing my clients' independence and finding alternative transportation solutions when necessary.
In terms of skills, I am experienced in assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing, catheter care, and providing companionship to those I care for. I believe in fostering a comfortable and trusting environment for my clients, where they are encouraged to maintain their independence as much as possible.
In my free time, I enjoy a number of hobbies including walking, dancing, cooking and baking, photography, and watching TV. I am also comfortable with a range of pet preferences, including fish, lizards, turtles, snakes, and even spiders. My attributes as a carer include being caring, friendly, and always willing to lend a helping hand.
Ultimately, my motivation for being a carer stems from my desire to help people lead independent lives. It is incredibly rewarding to know that I can make a difference in someone's life by providing the care and support they need to maintain their quality of life. I am excited to continue my journey as a home carer and look forward to the opportunity to help more individuals in need.
